Roundtable with stakeholders
In Uganda, we are in the start-up phase of INCE. Recently, we did a roundtable with 10 important stakeholders. The aim of this roundtable was to gain insight into the need and opportunities for systemic change in the education sector in Uganda.
Contact with Ministry of Education
We have an established good contact with the highest official (permanent secretary) of the Ministry of Education. The Ministry is enthusiastic about INCE. We are in discussion with them about a possible project to improve the quality of education by investing in teachers. We are currently in the process of determining the focus for teacher training and which other interventions are necessary and possible to speak of real systemic change.
We are very positive about the steps we are taking and I am hopeful that we will be able to book the first results in the course of 2022!
